I'm not the only award-winning writer in the family. My cousin, Clay Carmichael, is an award-winning author in her own right. Her latest book, and first young adult novel, Wild Things, is getting great reviews (including a starred one from Kirkus!) and just won the 2009 North Carolina Juvenile Literature Award from the American Association of University Women. It's also in the running for the 2010 ALA Best Books for Young Adults. Pick up a copy today!
