I love working with young writers, especially students working on their high school's paper (digital or print), radio show, etc. That's where I cut my journalistic teeth and I feel a responsibility to give back.
I developed this feature writing primer for the North Carolina Scholastic Media Institute, hosted by my alma mater, The University of North Carolina School of Media & Journalism (#goheels):
Though written for aspiring journalists, it's a good primer for professionals who are new to content marketing, blogging or brand journalism.
(I'm also reprising my persuasive/editorial writing and source diversity workshops from the National High School Journalism Convention.)
