Today, I’d like to introduce you to Carolyn Evans. You can read her bio here.

Carolyn's family and mine go back three generations. Our maternal grandfathers both held executive positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and they were said to be like brothers. Decades later, during her senior year at Carolina, Carolyn did an internship with us. We’ve never really let her go.

Carolyn proved her mettle when I landed a large contract with global pharma company Glaxo. It required me to be onsite daily, meaning somebody had to mind the store. In stepped Carolyn, taking on extra duties and extra hours – and making sure everything stayed on track with grace and aplomb.

Today, Carolyn’s a successful consultant and freelance writer. Her deep experience with start-up technology companies and extensive knowledge of the consumer marketplace and the media that cover it make her a valued team member. She’s devised outreach strategies for clients like the Womens Center, managed the production of Venture Update for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, and researched and written for Monster.com and Architect magazine.

Well, that’s all the news for today. Time for me to head back to the factory floor.
