Katrina’s aftermath

by Margot Carmichael Lester | Nov 18, 2009 | What-Not

So glad to hear that a judge has ruled the Army Corps of Engineers is responsible for the devastating flooding after Hurricane Katrina. Here's a run-down of the reporting I've done from the aftermath:

7 months out:
After The Storm (team reporting with Les Shaver)

Crescent City Voices series:
'It Lives With You'
'One Body, One Spirit, One Hope'
After The Money
Blank Slate

Five years out:
New Orleans spotlight

Of course, this ruling won't fix everything that's still wrong in New Orleans (see this report from the Greater New Orleans Data Center on prevalent wages and affordable rents), but every little bit helps, you know?
