I can hardly believe it's the first Monday of May. Where on earth has the year gone?
We've got another busy week here:
Our contract with the Kauffman Foundation was extended at the 11th hour even though we've completed our end of the deal, so we expect there will be additional work coming our way. Of course, we have no idea what that will be, so...
Claire's continuing to manage media outreach for the Talecris Florida event.
She and I will begin researching the local architecture and economy of Wilmington, Del., for Architect.
Steve's working on a presentation for Wednesday. He'll address a group of master's in education students at UNC-Pembroke about teaching writing.
He'll also be working on his weekly posts for The National Journal and Rethink Learning Now.
I'm beginning to research my Biz Beat column for the Carrboro Citizen, and will be meeting with the editorial and design team for the Carrboro Guide, which the paper publishes annually with the town.
I'm also finishing up four Match.com articles for the faith-based dating channel, and wrapping up research for my two books on writing for college kids and corporate folks.
Gotta run. Have a great week!
